The Star and the Laser Beams

Since meeting Sirona, it's changed my grounding ritual (QC). Normally I stand and feel the earth beneath my feet and then stretch up through the ceiling, into the sky, into space and finally my head arrives at the centre of the universe. From here I receive the divine light and I bring this light down through my body. However, the past two nights I've had very personal experiences with Sirona. First of all she is with me as soon as my head pops out of the top of my house. She swirls about me and gently helps me up towards the ceiling of the earth. Then, when I begin to trave through space she is the great emptiness and the great wonder of the universe. I am travelling through her, within her. It feels so incredible. Two nights ago when I arrived at the centre of the universe she poured the light into my head, like The Star in the major arcana (always my favourite card, [info]morganjaffit will attest to that). Then, last night her eyes glowed like a thousand stars and penetrated my skull like a laser beam. Amazing.

Sirona as Sky Goddess

Hmmm never really considered Sirona to be an actual Sky Goddess...Ive always viewed her as a Star Goddess and Goddess of Night, Fertility and of Wells.

Ahh, that's so interesting. Because the first time I saw her, she appeared swirling in the dark night full of stars. But, in my subsequent meditations she didn't seem disconnected with the sky, i.e., the air or the atmosphere. Like a rocket ship that can propel itself through earth's atmosphere and also travel through space, she can come between within earth's atmosphere. But, certainly my primary experiences with her has been with her in the galaxy of stars.

shes closely related to Damona if not one and the same with her. Damona is a Gaulish Celtic Goddess of the Moon, Cattle and Wealth and is said to be the consort of Belenos(the Shining God) and Sirona is sometimes said to be the consort of Belenos and other times considered the consort of Grannos. My friend Ariotanos relates Grannos to Belenos as his son, But I feel they are simply localized forms of one another. This may also be the case with Sirona and Damona.
